Defence Jawan (Sepoy) Salary 2026
A Sepoy (equivalent) starts at Level 3 basic pay of ₹21,700 plus Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹5,200. Under the 8th CPC at a 2.86x fitment, basic could rise to about ₹62,000 with MSP proportionately revised — before field, HRA, siachen and CILQ allowances.
